As a Delaware 501(c)(3) nonprofit, Open AAM provides:

All services align with IRS public benefit requirements under Section 501(c)(3)

2.2 Eligibility

Services are intended for:

Prohibited: Commercial use without explicit written permission.

3. User Obligations

3.1 Account Registration

To contribute code or access restricted features:

  • Maintain account security; notify us of unauthorised access within 24 hours
     

Use two-factor authentication for privileged accounts.

3.2 Conduct Guidelines

You agree not to:

  • Violate FAA/U.S. aviation CAA UK and EASA regulations, or export controls

  • Reverse-engineer proprietary systems marked as non-open-source

  • Harvest data from forums for commercial purposes

  • Introduce malware or disrupt Site operations
     

Post discriminatory, defamatory, or illegal content

5.2 Moderation Rights

OPEN AAM ORG may:

6. Liability Framework

6.1 Assumption of Risk

By using the Site, you acknowledge:

  • Open-source materials may contain errors or vulnerabilities

  • Data breaches, service interruptions, or technical failures may occur

6.2 Comprehensive Waiver

"I understand that OPEN AAM ORG assumes no liability for technical errors in open-source tools and waives all rights to legal recourse for damages arising from their use."

6.3 Mutual Indemnification

  • Users indemnify Open AAM against claims from:
     

    • Unauthorised distribution of licensed materials

    • Violations of third-party IP rights in user submissions
       

  • OPEN AAM ORG maintains cybersecurity insurance for infrastructure failures.
